REFRESHER COURSE
The methodology of the refresher course is organized in such way to build on the knowledge and skills the pilots have already acquired. The level of the proficiency of each pilot in the course differs. That’s why the schooling flexibly reacts to the needs of the pilots in the course. The main problem that we are aware of in this field is the lack of confidence of the new pilots after a relatively longer time frame after the basic course. That’s why the main aim of the refresher course is to regain the lost confidence of the pilot.
Specifically, we concentrate on:
- Review of the technique of the take-offs (forward launch, reverse launch)
- An independent orientation of the pilot in the air
- Practice of the ridge soaring
- High flights
- Theoretical schooling
- Other necessary parts of the mosaic of a successful pilot
The flying sites for the course are chosen in order for the pilots to acquire flying skills in various kinds of terrains (mountain terrains, terrains with relatively smaller height differences, …).
