COURSE OF THERMAL FLYING

In the course of thermal flying we offer to interested persons the possibility to acquire skills in the area of using thermals to gain altitude and the basic rules of the tactics of the flight. During the schooling the pilots systematically learn under the guidance of instructors the right habits necessary for thermal flying. In the course we focus on managing 4 basic pillars of thermal flying.

As those we consider:

1. the right choice of the flying terrain and the place of launching
2. the right timing of the launching in regard to the effective using of a thermal
3. the way of finding the thermals
4. the technique of managing the piloting of the wing by “coring” the thermals

In the course of thermal flying we focus also on the basics of cross-country flying, and that’s why long distances may be added to the altitudes that are fascinating you. These are the long kilometers flown in quietness and hours spent in trains on the way back home after a successful cross-country flight. Many pilots were already overcome by such situations.
