BASIC COURSE OF PARAGLIDING
In case you are interested in learning how to fly independently by yourself, we offer you a possibility to attend a basic course of paragliding. You take part in a 6-day intensive preparation under the guidance of experienced instructors in the attractive surroundings of Low Tatras. During the basic course of paragliding you undergo a systematic practical as well as theoretical schooling. The practical part consists of training the launching, landings, technique of maneuvering with the wing, and technique of descending regimes. You practice the first training flights on a smaller school slope; after approximately 4 successful days the practical schooling takes place on a bigger hill which is necessary for managing a high flight. The theoretical part of the schooling consists of basics of aerodynamics, meteorology, navigation, flying provisions, and the construction of gliders. The course is finished by completing an independent high flight and a theoretical test. The attendants of the course may acquire a flying license of the PL-A category, to which it is possible to issue an international license.
